Are new CJP2/CDJP2 series cylinders interchangeable with old CJP/CDJP series cylinders? Also, is it still possible to order a seal kit for an old CJP/CDJP cylinder?

As the CJP/CDJP series double acting cylinder was discontinued in May 2008, the production of its seal kit has also been terminated. Interchangeability with CJP2/CDJP2 series cylinders is shown below.

① The basic type, flange type, and foot type are interchangeable with the new products. However, the overall length is 6 to 9.5 mm shorter.
Note 1) For bore sizes ø6 and ø10, the piping port size has been changed from M5 to M3.

② CJPD series clevis type cylinders and CJPT series trunnion type cylinders are interchangeable with new ø10 and ø16 CDJP2D/CDJP2T series built-in magnet type cylinders. The ø6 standard type (without magnet) and the ø10 and ø16 standard type (without magnet) and the built-in magnet type are interchangeable with the “-X1666” suffixed special order product .
Note 1) For bore sizes ø6 and ø10, the piping port size has been changed from M5 to M3.
Note 2) The “-X1666” suffixed special order product is not available for ø10 or ø16 CDJ2D(T) series built-in magnet type cylinders.
