What is the control method of “–XC11” suffixed MGG/MGC series dual stroke cylinders?
-
Various circuit configurations are available depending on the mounting method (horizontal or vertical). For example, when horizontally mounted, low pressure is supplied from the rod side to maintain the intermediate position. And when vertically downward mounted, the cylinder thrust in the downward direction is added to the load weight, which can be balanced with a regulator with a backflow function. Inertial force must be taken into consideration when stopping at an intermediate position for both horizontally and vertically mounted cylinders. We recommend contacting your local SMC sales office to discuss options.
