What are the possible reasons for frequent CB□ series end lock cylinder release failure?
-
When operating an end lock cylinder, the lock cannot be released and operation cannot be performed if back pressure isn’t secured on the exhaust side. In addition, the lock cannot be released when a large force is applied in the operating direction before the valve is switched. Therefore, a release failure will occur in the following cases.
1) When the product is operated with air supplied to only one side, such as during a test operation
2) When the air in the cylinder is exhausted and back pressure cannot be secured during operation
3) When a meter-in speed controller is installed and the rise of the supply-side pressure during operation is suppressed
4) When the load factor exceeds 50% for vertical downward operation
5) When a large force is applied in the operating direction before the valve is switched due to the effects of springs, external mechanisms, etc. (load, synchronous cylinder operation, etc.).
