MK series cylinders move down while rotating 90° from the upper end and then move to the lower end in a straight line after the rotary stroke. The rotary stroke portion of MK series cylinders is designed to rotate as the spiral groove on the rod and the guide pin engage. This rotating operation is to prevent the arm of the cylinder from interfering with the workpiece when the clamp is removed to move the workpiece. Clamp the workpiece within the clamp stroke. MK series cylinders can only be mounted with the rod facing upward, and horizontal mounting (use in the horizontal direction) is not possible. MK2T series cylinders, on the other hand, can be horizontally mounted (used in the horizontal direction).
