What can be done to prevent air from entering the operating oil of CCT air-hydro converters?
-
① Install the air-hydro converter at a position higher than the cylinder.
② The piping from the cylinder to the air-hydro converter should have an upward slope.
③ Do not position the port facing vertically downward.
④ Keep the piping as short as possible with minimal bending.
Note 1) When used as a single-side hydro unit, air may be mixed in with the operating oil. Consider periodic checks and air bleeding or changing to use as a double-side hydro unit.
Note 2) When using a skip valve, keep the ratio between high speed and low speed to 3:1 or less. If this ratio is too large, air bubbles may be generated by cavitation.
