Is it possible to request additional machining such as changing the shape or adding tapped holes to the plate and guide rods of an MGP series compact guide cylinder?

Yes, this is possible via special order.
Enter the required dimensions into the “Simple Special Order Specification Form” and submit it to your local SMC sales office.
They will assign a Simple Specials part number according to the specifications and will inform you of the Simple Specials order number via a commerce company. Please order using this Simple Specials order number.
Tapped holes, drilled holes, and pinned holes machined additionally are handled by special order part number suffix “-XC79.” Details can be found here. And changes of the guide rod end shape are handled by special order part number suffix “-XA1/6/17/21.” Details can be found here.
