Though the CA2-Z series is a non-lube type, can it be used with lube?

Yes, it is possible to apply lubrication. However, lubrication must be continually applied once applied to a non-lubricated cylinder. This is because the grease applied during cylinder assembly will be washed away by the lube, so switching back to operating without lubrication will result in insufficient lubrication.
