When replacing an old CDG1 series cylinder with one from the CDG1-Z series, is it possible to continue using the auto switch as is? Or, if replacing the auto switch at the same time as the cylinder is required, what is the new auto switch part number?

The auto switch of the old CDG1 series can be used as is simply by replacing each mounting bracket. For the new auto switch part numbers, refer to the “Applicable Auto Switches” tables in the new and old CG1 series catalogs.
Contact SMC if the part number of the auto switch in use is not listed in the “Applicable Auto Switches” table for the old CDG1.
