What has been changed about the IDF□E/IDU□E series refrigerated air dryer auto drain? Also, are the new and old types interchangeable?

The auto drains of the following models have been changed: IDF1E to 75E, IDU3E to 75E, IDH(A), and IDFA(IDFB)3E to 75E series.
Dryers produced from March 2019 onward feature the new auto drain with a different part number and shape.
The new and old auto drains are not interchangeable.
Contact SMC for the auto drain part number of option “K” (medium pressure specification) as well as those of IDFA, IDFB, and IDHA series air dryers for overseas use.
Be sure to confirm whether the auto drain is the new or old type by looking at the production lot number on the label and the actual auto drain.

Note) The start of production dates of the new auto drains (slightly different depending on model) are as follows:
IDF1 to 2E and IDF/IDU3E to 37E: March 2019
IDF/IDU55E to 75E: June 2019
IDH4 and IDH6: March 2019
