No. For the IDF□□E and IDU□E series option “T,” remote control (operation start/stop) cannot be performed by turning an external switch ON/OFF.
The operation and error signals from the option “T” terminal block are output signals.
It is not possible to wire an input signal. Therefore, as an alternative, a method of remote operation by turning ON/OFF the main power while keeping the switch with a light (start switch) ON was introduced.
However, the IDF□E-□-X256 (*2), which can be remotely operated (operation start/stop) by turning an external switch ON/OFF was and available for old dryers (*3), is still available as a special order.
Consider both remote control methods.
Note 2) “-X256” special order specification/with option “T” (with a terminal block for operating, error, and remote operation signals), remote control, and a terminal block for a stop switch
The special order part number suffix “-X256” can only be used for the IDF6E/IDU6E to 75E. For the IDF60/70/80/90, option “T” can be used for remote control, and the large IDF100 is equipped with remote control as standard.
