In the effective gripping force graphs in the MH series air gripper catalog, the line on the graph doesn’t go all the way across. Does this mean it is not possible to use the product with a greater gripping point distance? Also, why does the distance of the gripping point decrease as the operating pressure increases?

Yes, that's right. This is because a bending moment will be applied to the fingers of the air gripper due to the reaction force when the workpiece piece is gripped. If the distance to the gripping point is long or the pressure is high, an excessive bending moment may be applied, resulting in damage to the air gripper. Be sure to use the product appropriately within the range of the solid line on the graph.
