When should the elements of AFF, AM, AMD, AMH, AME, and AMF series filters be replaced?
-
Either when the pressure drop reaches 0.1 MPa or after 2 years of use, whichever comes first. For models with an element service indicator (option “T”), with a differential pressure gauge (special order part number suffix “-X6”), or with a differential pressure switch (options “S” and “U”), the pressure drop can be checked visually or by electrical signal. For AME series filters, if red spots appear on the element surface, it should be replaced. And for AMF series filters, the element should be replaced if there is an odor coming from the outlet side.
Note 1) If the element shows any of the above signs of needing to be replaced, replace it with a new element immediately. Continuing use without replacing the element can result in not only foreign matter leaking from the outlet side but also element damage.
Note 2) For the large free standing type (the AFF75A and larger and the AMD800 and larger), replace the element when the pressure drop reaches 0.1 MPa or after 1 year of use, whichever comes first.
