How do I use 2-wire and 3-wire solid state auto switches?

Their usage depends on the load.
The 2-wire type has a large leakage current, and there are cases where the switch OFF state cannot be recognized when used in combination with a PLC.
The 3-wire type has separate power supply and signal lines, and NPN or PNP output must be selected according to the input specifications.

Leakage current:
3-wire type: 100 μA or less for 24 VDC Ex.) D-M9N
2-wire type: 0.8 mA or less for 24 VDC Ex.) D-M9B(W)
