What is the difference between the standard auto switch and the improved water resistance type?

The improved water resistance type auto switch delays the infiltration of water into the switch due to measures taken to prevent water from entering through the electrical entry.
Note) The old D-F9BAL improved water resistance type auto switch (special order product equivalent in shape to “Z”: D-M9BAL(Z)-881) is still available.
