What domestic standards does the VBAT series air tank comply with?

VBAT series air tanks are exempt from requirements for Class 2 pressure vessels stipulated in Item 7 of Article 1 of the Enforcement Order of the Industrial Safety and Health Law of Japan.
Classification of a Class 2 pressure vessels is as follows.
① The internal capacity exceeds 40 L.
② The internal size exceeds 200 mm and the length exceeds 1000 mm.
③ The container holds gas with an operating pressure of 0.2 MPa or more.
Ref.) The capacity of the VBAT series air tank does not exceed 40 L. Therefore, the installation of safety valves is not mandatory because the air tank is not classified as a Class 2 pressure vessel.
