Can AK series check valves be used for fluids other than air?

AK, AKH, and AKB series check valves are for use with air only. Special order check valves with brass or stainless steel body materials can be used for either air or water. Special order check valves cannot be used for other fluids, or the SMC warranty will be void. The operating pressure upper limit is 1 MPa, but a check valve for steam (special order product) is also available.

Note 1) Inactive gases are not covered by the SMC warranty.
Note 2) Do not use combustible fluids, corrosive fluids, chemicals, poisonous gases, or seawater.
