The elements of old AF, AFM, AFD, and AW series products with 4 digits (e.g., AF4000) are generally interchangeable with those of old AF, AFM, AFD, and AW series products with 2 digits (e.g., AF40).
In addition, the element part numbers of the models with 2 digits (e.g., AF40) and the element part numbers of the models with 2 digits and a letter suffix (e.g., AF40-□-A) are the same and interchangeable.
Note that elements of old AF, AFM, AFD, and AW series products with 3 digits (e.g., AF400) are not interchangeable.
Note 1) The element of the old AF and AW series (4 digits: AF□□□□), which were released in 1985, was initially a bronze element and then became a nonwoven fabric element later on.
Products with the bronze element need to be replaced with the current product.
Note 2) For old AF, AFM, AFD, and AW series products (4 digits: AF□□□□), as the resin bowl can be expected to deteriorate after 20 years of use, replacement with the current product is recommended.
