What kind of product is the AR□K-B/AR□K-D series regulator with a backflow function?
-
The regulator with a backflow function has a bypass flow passage with a check valve inside the regulator.
When P1 (inlet pressure) becomes lower than P2 (outlet pressure), the check valve opens and the pressure in the diaphragm chamber is discharged to the P1 side.
This allows the outlet pressure to flow back rapidly to the inlet side due to the mechanism that opens the main valve.
The AR20K-B to AR60K-B and the AR20K-D to AR40K-D are regulators with a backflow function.
For example, if you want to install a regulator between a valve and a cylinder, select a regulator with a backflow function for the smooth flow of the cylinder return side compressed air to the regulator.
Also, when the compressed air supply is stopped and the inlet air is released to the atmosphere, the exhaust of residual pressure on the regulator's outlet side can be ensured.
Select a regulator with a backflow function when a residual pressure release 3-port valve is installed on the inlet side of the regulator.
Note) AR-A series regulators have a backflow function to process the remaining pressure when the pressure is set to a 0.15 MPa or higher.
