|Modular F.R.L.

Is it possible to replace only the AW series regulator of an old AC series modular F.R.L. unit (2 digits: AC□□ or 4 digits: AC□□□□) for maintenance purposes?
If so, are current AW-A, AW-B, and AW-D series regulators interchangeable with those of the old series? More specifically, are they interchangeable with ① old AC□0A (2 digits) and old AC□0D (2 digits) as well as ② old AC□010 (4 digits) and old AC□040 (4 digits)?

Regarding ① and ②, the interchangeability between new and old AW series regulators is as follows.
・Examples ① and ② below are of the AW+AFM, but the interchangeability is the same for the AW+AL.
・(Reference) Examples ① and ② below show the interchangeability when connecting a new AW series regulator, which is a component of current AC-A, AC-B, and AC-D series modular F.R.L. units.



• The “Y□00T” spacer with brackets from 2 generations before cannot be used for connecting new AW-D and AW-A series regulators.
・When connecting a new AW□-D series regulator to an old AC series modular F.R.L. unit (2 digits: AC□□), use the “Y□00T-D” spacer with brackets.
・When connecting a new AW□-A series regulator to an old AC series modular F.R.L. unit (2 digits: AC□□), use the “Y□00T-A” spacer with brackets. Note that the set pressure will be reduced from up to 0.85 MPa to up to 0.7 MPa.



•The “Y□0T” spacer with brackets from 3 generations before can be used for connecting new AW-A and AW-B series regulators, but it cannot be used for connecting new AW-D series regulators.
・AC series modular F.R.L. units (4 digits: AC□□□□) are old products that have been in use for more than 20 years, so there is a concern of degradation of the plastic cases. We therefore recommend replacing all the units with those from the current AC series.
・The bracket mounting positions are interchangeable between new and old AC series units. However, the distance between the surfaces has been shortened. (e.g., AC2040/AC3040: -6.8 mm, AC4040: -8.8 mm)



• The current “Y□00T-A” spacer with brackets should not be used for connecting new AW-D series regulators.
・When connecting an AW□-D series regulator to an AC-B series modular F.R.L. unit, use the “Y□00T-D” spacer with brackets. This does not apply for AC-A series modular F.R.L. units.
・(Note) The current “Y□00T-A” spacer with brackets can be used for connecting AW series regulators from 2 generations before.



• The new “Y□00T-D” spacer with brackets can be used for connecting current AW-B series regulators, but they cannot be used for connecting current AW-A series regulators.
・The new “Y□00T-D” spacer with brackets can also be used for connecting AW series regulators from 2 generations before.
