How do I set the pressure and hysteresis of an ISG series general purpose pressure switch?
-
The pressure setting of the ISG series open type pressure switch is performed using the set pressure adjustment bolt on the top surface of the main body, and the hysteresis (ON to OFF width) is performed using the hysteresis adjustment bolt on the side surface of the main body. (For the drip-proof type with a hysteresis scale plate, the hysteresis adjustment bolt is located inside the screw cap on the top surface of the body. Remove the cap and adjust with a screwdriver.)
The set pressure increases when rotated to the right and decreases when rotated to the left. Similarly, the hysteresis is increased when rotated to the right and decreased when rotated to the left. Only one pressure can be set for the 1a1b and 2ab types. When using contact “a,” set the pressure to turn the switch ON, and it will turn OFF when the pressure drops by the set hysteresis amount. When using contact “b,” the operation method is the opposite; so it will turn ON at or below the set pressure, and it will turn OFF when the pressure rises by the set hysteresis amount.
