What are the possible causes of water leaking from the main body of an ISG series general purpose pressure switch installed on a water piping line, and what can be done to remedy this?

The bellows may have been damaged by water hammer (surge pressure).
Consider the following countermeasures. ① Install a water hammer control device immediately before the pressure switch. ② If using a pressure switch with a low pressure range, consider the type with a high pressure range. ③ Pay attention to the pressure adjustment range and hysteresis adjustment range. ④ When using a 2-port valve for the water piping line, review the circuit by increasing the installation distance between the pressure switch and the valve, etc. ⑤ Replace with a water hammer relief type valve. ⑥ If steel piping is in use, consider switching to flexible hose piping. ⑦ Connect a ball valve immediately before the pressure switch, and restrict the pressure to the extent that there are no problems with pressure detection, etc.
Note) The bellows are replaceable. Be sure to order with the bellows assembly for ISG series pressure switches.
