|3/4/5 Port Solenoid Valves

The 5-port valve (internal pilot type) was manually operated during assembly, but the valve did not switch. The cylinder is not yet piped to the product and is releasing to the atmosphere. Why didn’t switching occur?

If the 2 (B)/4 (A) ports of the valve are not piped and compressed air is constantly being released to the atmosphere from the valve port, the pressure of the internal pilot for switching the main valve may not increase enough for the main valve to be switched. Manually operate the valve after piping it to the cylinder.
