What is the difference between “D” and “Y” type SY series DIN terminals?
-
The external dimensions of the DIN terminals are the same, but the pitch between terminals is different. The pitch between the terminals of the D type is 9.4 mm, and the pitch between the terminals of the Y type is 8 mm. The D type is generally for DIN in Asia and America, and the Y type is generally for DIN in Europe. (The pitch between terminals is different from that of the D/Y type DIN terminals of the VF series.)
