① VQC1000/2000 series valves have either positive common or negative common polarities. This is indicated in the valve part number (positive is blank and negative is “N”). VQC4000/5000 series valves do not have common polarity.
② For manifolds with serial transmission kits, whether the valves are positive common or negative common depends on the type of protocol. For VQC1000/2000 series valves, install valves with the same common specification as the common specification of your protocol.
③ Manifolds with kits other than the serial transmission kit (“S”), which includes options “F,” “L,” “M,” “P,” and “T,” do not have common polarity. Therefore, it is acceptable to mount either VQC1000/2000 positive common or negative common valves. However, it is not possible to mix them. The wiring also depends on the common polarity of the valves.
