VEX1 □3□ series precision regulators support pipes of up to 2 inches. There are 2 methods of pressure adjustment available: a manual knob type or an air operated type (the pressure is controlled by another regulator valve). The manual knob type is adjusted in the same way as the normal regulator valve, but for the air operated type, the pressure set by an IR series compact precision regulator or an ITV series electro-pneumatic regulator is supplied to the PA (pilot port) of the VEX, which precisely controls the large amount of pressure.
Note 1) Air of up to 9.5 L/min (ANR) [at a supply pressure of 1.0 MPa] is constantly exhausted (consumed) from the PE port for high-precision pressure regulation.
Note 2) Install a mist separator on the supply side in addition to the filter.
Note 3) When the outlet pressure is higher than the set pressure, the R port is used for exhaust until the set pressure is reached. The installation of a silencer on the R port is recommended.
