|3/4/5 Port Solenoid Valves

What is the model selection method for VH series hand valves?
-
① First, it is necessary to select the body size (for use as a guide, a comparison with solenoid valves is shown below). The available port sizes are determined by the body size.
② For the piping orientation, all side piping or all bottom piping can be selected for VH300 series and VH400 series valves. For VH200 series valves, you can select from all side piping or side piping to the P, A, and B ports with bottom piping to the R port. For VH600 series valves, only side piping to the P, A, and B ports with bottom piping to the R port can be selected.
③ For 2-position valves, the piston can only be moved from the forward end to the backward end of the cylinder. 3-position closed center valves, however, hold in the internal pressure of the cylinder when in the (N) position. This allows for the temporary holding of the cylinder at an intermediate position because of air leakage in the rotary slide valve. 3-position exhaust center valves release the cylinder air pressure when in the (N) position.
Note) The all side piping option was only added to the VH200 series (as described in ②) in 2016. The VH series catalog can be found here
