Currently, the catalog only lists VQ7 series ISO-compliant valves, but VS7/VP7 series valves are still available. The interfaces are the same, and the DIN terminal connections are the same, so they are interchangeable. Differences in the main valve construction resulted in the separation of the VS7 series (metal seal) and the VP7 series (rubber seal), but in the VQ7 series, both metal seals and rubber seals are available and can be selected by part number. In addition, the pilot valve part has been made more compact and to consume less.
Note) The power consumption of VQ7 series vales is lower than that of VS7/VP7 series valves. (e.g., the AC100V now consumes 49 mA at start-up and went from 31 mA→12 mA when energized) Be careful when the voltage is AC and the valve is driven by solid state output (SSR, TRIAC output, etc.).
