How do I connect the piping to a VM series 2/3-port mechanical valve?

For VM100/200 series valves, the piping port marked with a “1” is the IN side, and the port marked with a “2” is the OUT side.
(For the 3-port type, the exhaust is designed to exit from the exhaust hole (R hole) of the push rod, so piping is not possible.)

For VM400/800 series valves, the piping method varies depending on the application (function); however, “NC,” “NO,” and “OUT” are stamped on each of the piping ports.
Check the JIS symbol in the location indicated in the “Dimensions” section of the VM400/800 series catalog to ensure proper piping.
