Is it possible to replace a VFS3100-5FZ mounted on a manifold base or sub-plate with a VFS3200-5FZ? Also, will the circuitry change?

Yes, it is possible. The circuit will change from a 2-position single to a 2-position double circuit.
If the solenoid valve series is the same (e.g.,, VFS3000 series, base mounted, same plug-in type), the solenoid valve mounting surface will have the same shape.
Therefore, the solenoid valve can be replaced within the series.
However, in this case, the circuit function will also change after mounting.
Note) Check the connection of lead wires separately.
