While using a VFS4300-5FZ-03 closed center type cylinder to perform intermediate stops, the stop position has shifted over time. Are there any ways to prevent this?

Consider a VFS4600 series 3-position perfect type valve.
For the VFS4300 series 3-position closed center valve with a metal seal, some air leakage is unavoidable even in the neutral position and even if there is no air leaking from the cylinder or joint.

Though it depends on the usage, stopping for a few tens of seconds should not cause the stop position to shift much, but holding the position for a long period of time is not possible.
The perfect type has built-in check valves with a very low leakage amount, which means that the stop position can be held for a relatively long period of time.
Note) A cylinder with a lock may be required depending on the operating conditions.
