What is the response time and max. operating frequency of SMC valves?

The response time of the valve is the response time of the valve body when the rated voltage is turned ON or OFF.
The response time stated in the catalog is the time until the flow path begins to switch when the pressure is 0.5 MPa and the valve body continues to operate and switch completely thereafter. This is not the time until the valve is in a fully open (or fully closed) state.
The max. operating frequency of the valve is the limit value for high-frequency switching operations. The number of operations per second is shown in Hz in the catalog.
The SY series plug-in type 5-port valve, for example, is a good choice depending on the application.
