For actuators with a lock, is a control signal required for unlocking during normal operation with an LECP6 series controller?: No, a control signal is not required. A signal to the BK-RLS terminal for brake release is only required when it needs to be released forcibly during adjustment or an emergency. It should remain OFF during normal operation.
