Does the table (rod) fall under its own weight when the actuator is mounted vertically?

Holding torque is generated when the servo is ON. Therefore, if the workpiece weight is less than the vertical transportable mass, it will not fall.
When the servo is OFF (stopped), holding torque is not generated, and so it will fall. Select a type with a lock for vertical mounting.
