Why was a conversion cable (P5062-5) for the serial I/O connector (SI) added to the JXC91/JXCD1/JXCE1/JXCP1 series step motor controller for connecting the controller to a PC or teaching box?

Because the communication connector (communication IN/OUT) of JXC91/JXCD1/JXCE1/JXCP1 series step motor controllers becomes a RJ45 connector depending on the type of field network, a round connector is used as the serial I/O connector (SI) to prevent miswiring.
The part number of the conversion cable for connecting a teaching box (LEC-T1), etc., to this round connector is “P5062-5.”
This conversion cable is a dedicated cable; do not use other commercially available products.
Note 1) Controller setting kit: A conversion cable (P5062-5) is not required for the JXC-W2.
