What is the correspondence between the SI unit output number and the valve coil?
-
The output number refers to the D-side solenoid position on the manifold and starts at zero. When the A/B piping port is facing toward you, the D side is on your left.
The wiring of the standard specification manifold is for double solenoids (double wiring specification), and the output number is assigned from the A side to the B side. If single valves are being used, the B side output will be empty.
For further details, refer to "Output number assignment" in the operation manual on the SMC website.
Note) For the special wiring specification manifold with a specified layout (where the wiring specifications are specified on a manifold specification sheet), check the individual specification sheet.
