At what point between the cylinder and valve should an AQ series quick exhaust valve be installed?

If the piping is long or the solenoid valve is small, mount the quick exhaust valve as close to the air cylinder supply and exhaust port as possible to shorten the stroke time. The stroke time can be shortened by exhausting directly from the quick exhaust valve as there is no need for the exhaust to pass through long pipes or solenoid valves. In general, AQ series valves are mounted directly to the air supply and exhaust port of the cylinder using a steel pipe such as a nipple.
Note) Direct mounting of an AQ series valve to the cylinder is not suitable for small-capacity cylinders with large flow piping.
