What is the difference between VNA, VNB, VNC, VNH, SGC, and SGH series external pilot solenoid valves and air operated valves?

External pilot solenoid valves are used with the pilot port constantly pressurized, and they activate the main valve by switching between the energization and de-energization of the solenoid.
On the other hand, for air operated valves, the main valve is operated by switching between supplying and exhausting air to/from the pilot port using another 3-port valve, etc. (For VN□ series air operated valves, the fluid temperature can be up to 99°C depending on the model.)
