What is the difference between the VXZ series zero differential pressure pilot operated 2-port valve and the VX2 series direct operated 2-port valve?

Since VXZ series valves are operated with zero differential pressure, the min. operating pressure differential is 0 MPa, which is the same as that of VX2 series direct operated valves.
The differences are as follows.
VXZ series valves feature a large orifice diameter, a medium flow rate, and a wide pressure range.
VX2 series valves feature a small flow rate and a compact body.
Note that the max. operating pressure differential (the max. allowable pressure difference during operation) of VX2 series valves decreases as the orifice diameter increases.
VXZ series
Port size: 1/4 to 1 inch, Orifice diameter: ø10 to ø25
VX2 series
Port size 1/8 to 1/2, Orifice diameter: ø2 to ø10

Note) Operation may become unstable if a VXZ series valve is used in a low flow range below the 0.01 MPa pressure differential due to structural reasons.
