Can the special LQ1 series hyper fitting insertion tool be used with inch size tubing?

The special LQ1 series hyper fitting insertion tool is the same for both inch and metric size tubing.
However, while the insertion tool body is the same, the insert pins in the parts case are different for inch and metric sizes and need to be selected accordingly.
The insert pins can be ordered separately as replacement parts.
