What is the difference between CRB series rotary actuators with single and double vanes?
-
The differences between the types with single and double vanes are as follows.
The double vane type has double the pressure receiving area, so the torque is twice that of the single vane type.
However, due to the construction, only 90° and 100° rotating angles are possible.
The vane shafts of sizes 10, 15, and 20 of the CRB2 series are made of stainless steel for the single vane type and chrome molybdenum steel for the double vane type.
The vane shaft material of the double vane type for sizes 30 and larger of the CRB□ series is also chrome molybdenum steel.
Note) The new CRB series rotary actuators (sizes 10, 15, 20, 30, and 40) released in November 2018 only come in the single vane type.
