The HV LED on an IZN10 series main unit should be OFF during normal discharge. The ION/HV LED on a new IZN10E series main unit should be ON (green) when the unit is discharging normally.
However, if the HV or ION/HV LED is ON (red), this indicates a high-voltage error has occurred.
The main cause of this is usually foreign matter or water droplets adhering to the emitter (electrode needle).
Remove the cartridge and clean the emitter. In order to clear the alarm, remedy the cause of the error, and supply power again.
It is recommended that the cartridge be replaced if the error occurs again even after cleaning the electrode.
Note) Be sure to stop supplying power when cleaning or replacing the emitter.
