For an HRS series thermo-chiller, what does it mean when alarm code “AL28” is generated, and what can be done to remedy this?

This means that the pump (or the mechanical seal) requires inspection and replacement.
Alarm code “AL28” (pump maintenance) will be activated every 20,000 hours (every 8000 hours for option “T” and the HRS050/060) of operation.
Consider requesting maintenance from a maintenance company.

Once the accumulated operating time reaches 20,000 hours, pump replacement is recommended.
