The vacuum pads come in various shapes: flat type (with ribs), deep type, bellows type, thin flat type (with ribs), oval type, etc.
Select the shape that best suits the workpiece and environment. Some application examples for each shape are described below.
Flat pads: For flat and even-surfaced workpieces
Flat pads with ribs: For workpieces that are easily deformed or workpieces that need to be released reliably
Deep pads: For curved workpieces
Bellows pads: For when there is no space to install a buffer or for workpieces with an inclined adsorption surface
Oval pads: For when you want to reliably perform positioning of long workpieces or workpieces with a small adsorption surface
Ball joint pads: For workpieces with an adsorption surface that isn’t horizontal
High load pads: For heavy workpieces
Semiconductive silicone rubber pads: For when measures against static electricity need to be taken (Rubber with reduced surface resistance is used.)
※Buffer: For workpieces of non-uniform heights or for when workpieces need to be buffered
